About Calcoway

Calcoway is an independent website that makes free calculators for online sellers, freelancers, creators and small businesses around the world.

Pricing and profit questions are easy to get wrong. Margin and markup sound alike but aren't. Two discounts don't add up. A freelance hourly rate has to cover holidays, admin and tax. A calculator that only shows a number doesn't help you avoid those traps, so every tool here shows its working, explains the formula and includes a worked example.

How we work

• Accuracy first. Formulas are tested against worked examples and thousands of generated inputs before a page goes live, and each page shows when it was last checked.
• Privacy. Calculations run in your browser and you never need an account.
• Global by default. Tools work in 12 currencies and let you enter your own rates where rules differ between countries.
• Honest about money. The site is funded by ads and affiliate links, and we only recommend tools that fit the page you're on. See our affiliate disclosure.
